Two teens released to parents' custody following arrests for Irving Middle School destruction

Two 17-year-olds, one from Roslindale and one from Jamaica Plain, are expected to be arraigned Friday on charges of breaking and entering at night with intent to commit a felony, larceny from a building, and malicious destruction of property following a vandalism spree at the Irving that police say left ten classrooms heavily damaged, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Where were their parents?

What were they doing out late at night?

Why aren't their parents in jail?

What's wrong with parents these days.

Oh, wait, they're white kids. Nevermind. Must be some mistake or hardworking parents dealing with behavioral disabilities, kids being kids, teens will turn out okay eventually, etc.

Where do you get this stuff? How about put them in a cell, and give them a criminal record that follows them for the rest of their lives? It's soft-on-crime liberals like you who want the prisons emptied out and no one held responsible for their actions. We tough-on-crime conservatives don't give a damn about the race of the criminal - it's the deed that needs to be punished.

Which is why it is unarmed white kids being gunned down by cops and black guys getting probation while the jails fill with white guys who did the same thing.

Okay.
