Katia was on the Esplanade this evening when three Santas in a camo gun boat came roaring by. Nobody better mess with Santas in speedboats.

Materializing and capitalizing to make a profit on Thanksgiving, Christmas or any other day that was meant for reflections and honoring, is absolutely despicable, disrespectful, disgusting and unholy.

You realize most people celebrate those holidays purely in a secular fashion. As they should be.
Most people recognize
Christmas is a Christian religious holiday, or holy day. Most people in the U.S. self identify as Christian. Same with Easter, another Christian high holy day.

I think most people without an axe to grind for their own narrow view recognize that Christmas is both a religious (Jesus) AND a secular (Santa) holiday. Each person is free to pick what, if anything, Christmas means to them.
As long as they wait until after Thanksgiving for any of it. I encountered six bell ringers around Back Bay yesterday. Ho ho pass the hand grenades.
