Joe Donahue forwards J. Steven's pic of the cowled crime fighter on Rte. 128 this morning.
Maybe he's heading to the Gucci store in Newton, which keeps getting swarmed by handbag thieves.

Is that a tricycle he is
Is that a tricycle he is riding?
Yes
It qualifies as a "motorcycle" and I give Batman props for modifying the required helmet as part of the total ensemble.
Reverse Trike
2 wheels in front makes it a reverse trike. It's the Polaris Slingshot (just came out this year) and it follows in the tradition of Can-Am of putting wheels on their snowmobile frame and getting it classified as a motorcycle. The styling they chose makes it "look like Batman in his bathtub every time [the owners] hit a Starbucks".

Everyone I know that has seen one of these in person instantly goes to the Batmobile in their mind, including myself. Clearly this owner is doubling down on that which is awesome.
So disappointingly heavy at 1800lbs
Motorcycle engines make comparable power yet are so much smaller and lighter than the GM car engine in that thing. Everything else could then have also been made lighter. A 2016 Mazda Miata will be much more practical and still pretty fun and light.
At least
he's not driving a Reliant Robin.
Morgan makes one
For a couple years now.

Yeah, that one exposes a truth
You can make a reverse trike like the Slingshot or Can-Am's and say "oh, it's a motorcycle built like a snowmobile" and get away with it. You make one like Morgan's designed like their cars and what you're saying is "oh, it's a car, but we wanted to make it completely unsafe as a car so we took a wheel off and called it a motorcycle instead". It's the kind of trike that ends up getting states all pissy and using their laws on what a car is versus what a motorcycle is against trikes: http://jalopnik.com/polaris-slingshot-now-banned-in-connecticut-still-no...
My master has requested that I
inform your readers that, when this picture was taken, he was driving on Interstate 95. This route designation has been confirmed by the readout on the Mobile BatComputer in the BatCycle.
Maybe he's transitioning to
Maybe he's transitioning to Batgirl...
He got rid of one wheel so far.
If he was spotted on 128
Was he listening to the radio? Did he drive by some Stop 'n Shops?
