I can see why. A game in the Carrier Dome is really an experience. 30,000+ in attendance routinely. I wonder what the young folks in Durham, NC have to say about that other school down the road getting the bid.

I'm from the area too. Actually was in the crowd for the largest indoor pro hockey game in US history at the Dome the weekend before Thanksgiving.
I don't think anyone can really argue against it being an amazing place for college hoops.
