I went out around 10a to head over to the VZW Store in DTX to pick up a JetPack MiFi (in case I lose power), and I went into CVS across the street.
CVS on Washington -No bread, Milk, Flashlights, and the batteries had been picked thru
CVS on Winter - No Milk at all. Some bread. No flashlights and some batteries
CVS on Summer - Two gallons of milk. No bread. No Flashlights. Batteries were meh but employees were dumping totes of them into bins near the self checkouts (rather than re-stock the display)
I'm sure I'll find this to be the case anywhere I go today...
the beginnings of a Tom and Jerry. The poison adds some refreshing bitterness; the result is kind of like a cross between egg nog and a Campari flip.
Make sure to get some cream, too. I presume you've already got the eggs. A battery-powered blender for the meringue and some Sterno for heat is handy in case the power goes out. If you don't have that much foresight, I can't help you.
was pretty well stocked at 9:30 this morning. Plenty of milk, bread, eggs, chips, and ice cream. There were no mushrooms at all and an employee told me that they were waiting for the mushroom truck. All the pre-washed lettuce and greens, and slaw in bags was also depleted. But lots of fresh heads of lettuce and most vegetables were stocked. The store was busy, but not crazy busy.
I already had everything I really needed, but ventured out to get a couple things just in case. If it would have been a madhouse, I was prepared to turn around. My neighborhood Star Market had egg, bread, pretty much everything, and no crowds. Everyone else had done their panic shopping earlier. Grabbed some english muffins (on sale), some extra milk and eggs (just because) and checked out swiftly.

I tweet'd to Adam earlier about this...

Perhaps
There'll at least be some fudge around the corner.
Taking that quite literally ...
Our local ice cream store sent out a message letting people know that they have gallons of milk in stock and they will be open to 6pm at least.
(CB Scoops in West Medford Square)
Probably
Probably so they'll sell it and get rid of it before they close for tomorrow.
Nice customer service tho!
Curious
What are those half-gallons at the top of the shelf? 2 % poison milk? Last Christmas' eggnong?
ROTFL!
"2 % poison milk"
Classic!
Mix that stuff up with some antidote, and you've got

Sudbury Farms in Needham
Shelves were stocked and they were still stocking. Said milk delivery truck just arrived. I even picked up an 'extra' shovel.
Milk at CVS 1266 Comm Ave
Was there an hour ago. They're picked clean of bread but had a lot of milk, in case anyone in the area is looking.
CVS in Copley Square had
CVS in Copley Square had bread, milk, and eggs at 3:30 this afternoon. There's a liquor store next door as well.
My mother left a message
and in her best Cummins Highway accent said:
"If ya lose pow-ah, I'll worry! The generatah ya brothah got us can powah the house for fo-ah days!"
Neighborhood Star plenty stocked last night

Procrastination pays! (sometimes)
