Resident's surveillance camera may have captured a fleeing Fields Corner armed-robbery suspect

Man on bicycle in Fields Corner

UPDATE: Boston Police report arresting Jaquan Barrows, 18.

A Fields Corner resident forwards this photo, taken not long after a man was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Dot. Ave. Bank of America, by a man wearing a bright red jacket who fled on a black bicycle.

She reports:

By looking at the small amount of skin showing from his hands and face, he could be a white guy. As a bike connoisseur, I'd say the rider is at least 6' tall, and riding a mountain bike with a 17" or so frame that's too-small for him . There appear to be a red/purple (Gatorade?) bottle in the bottle cage.

There is only a brief video capture of him seen riding quite fast as he exits the Bank of America parking lot, rides diagonally through the Dot Ave/Adams St intersection, and then enter the driveway of the Cleveland School parking lot. This would be an unusual pattern for a cyclist on a Sunday afternoon, when the bank is closed.

The photo shows him just before he enters the Cleveland School driveway.

He is an environmentally conscious robber of banks not wishing to increase his carbon footprint while pursuing his career. In addition his brightly colored jacket shows consideration to the driving ability challenged of Dot Ave.
