NorthEndWaterfront.com reports everybody's favorite Cambridge actor-turned-director will be filming scenes for a Lehane-based novel in the North End next week.
"A story set in the Prohibition Era and centered around a group of individuals and their dealings in the world of organized crime." -IMDB Going way back in time, bravo Affleck...should be a good one!
Talk about going way back in time! One doesn't normally associate Boston with the Prohibition era so this should definitely be one to see, especially considering Afflecks directing
on some Boston.com slideshow, "The Most Boston Thing To Have Ever Bostoned in Boston Ever!!!!", sandwiched neatly between "Dunkin Donuts" and "Omg, like, waiting for the Green Line."
Another movie about long lost blue collar Boston? Track suit-wearing townies who steal money and Oxycontin? The movie will open with the kids at First Communion and scalley caps chatting on the triple decker porch.

Repeat after me, Ben: My family did NOT own slaves!
