Gruesome
Unfortunately I drove past this right after it happened and before the EMT's/first responders could get the white sheets out. It was gruesome and horrific. I hope the driver will be able to cope with the events, although I'm not sure how one goes about moving past something like this. The images will be forever engrained into my head.
I'm so sorry you had to see

It was World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims

In the US, suicide kills more people than traffic deaths, though there is likely some double-counting.
There was a vigil at the Statehouse.

What are you implying?
A vast majority of traffic injuries and deaths are not suicides, BTW.
