Robert Orthman was forced to deal with this sight at the West Roxbury Home Depot this morning.

Funny....
....it looks like there is supposed to be a picture there, but I see nothing. NOTHING, I tell ya. *covers eyes*
Nothing to see here. Move along.
Wait
the giant inflatable Santas aren't on display already? I can recall encountering Santa's North Pole Wonderland in Home Depots and Lowes starting in August several different times.
In all seriousness, I did once overhear a manager of the Packard's Corner Shaw's tell an incredulous clerk stocking the shelves, "Yeah, July is too early for Back to College merchandise, but the summer stuff sold out and we can't leave the seasonal shelves empty for a month."
Roches Bros not as bad
but they had a whole end cap of candy corns. In August! Candy corn season is definitely from Oct 1 through maybe Dec 1, tops.
Rip-off
They can stick 'em you know where for that price!
Newcomer Special!
Get them now for this price - before it starts snowing and they are $50, right?
(winks)
I mean, if you don't know what one of these should cost ...
actually
That's not too bad.. I paid around 20 last year for a decent snow shovel.
oh good
I need some summer garden stuff.. like rakes, hedge trimmers, and what not.. I wonder if its all reduced now.
