NorthEndWaterfront.com reports on a nasty space-saver note exchange in which one party tried to pin the blame on the owner of a Hanover Street store, who couldn't possibly be involved because she doesn't even own a car.
I'm feeling like a broken record but. The time has come . We can no longer tolerate parking savers as they lead to entitlement behavior that escalates to destruction of property,
That note was hilarious. this person has had a reserved spot on a public street for the better part of a month, likely left empty all day while at work, and is IRATE because someone else had the gall to place their own car there.
And then the kicker: there's nowhere else for this poor soul to park, because "all the other spots in the neighborhood are taken or saved." Sucks when all the available public spots have been staked out by private parties, don't it?
Ah if I am not mistaken it's what the maya has stated is allowed. He says it's ok. City says its ok. I got my space to April. Rules are rules. I pay taxes and rent. I shovel it it's mine to snow is gone. My own private spot. Waaahhhhh
The car would be gone and quietly dismantled in a magic knock-knock shop within the hour. Heck, during Reformasi in Indonesia, people would casually stroll between the lanes of cars stopped at traffic lights, wrenching off mirrors and popping off hubcaps. What were you gonna do, get out of the car and fight for it?
What with the tire slashings and nail gunnings, we're not far off... Simply stealing the car is starting to look downright civil in comparison.
I would absolutely hate to be the tourist that rents a car and tries to park in Boston in the winter. I'm sure there are only like 2 or 3 of them, but still.

And then they cover the car in trash. Lovely.
I'm so sick of hearing about this shit.
Pure 3rd world behavior. But it's what the people want.

Nah
If it were the third world, there'd be some mook with a little towel on his shoulder you could pay to watch your space for you.
