You can fool some of the Bruins fans some of the time ...

How far we've fallen: Not only do a bunch of Bruins fans in a bar go into foodgasms over a McDonald's hamburger, they don't realize who's feeding it to them. Also, McDonald's is too cheap to get the rights to show the Bruins logo.

Or perhaps the Bruins
decided not to sell them the rights to use their logo in a cheezy commercial hawking subpar patties barely resembling hamburgers.
You mean hocking sub-par
You mean hocking sub-par imitation 'food' slightly resembling a 'hamburger'.
oh good
I know what I am having for lunch now!
McDonald's!
Point taken
Have revised my post accordingly.
New iteration
Maybe the latest version of pucks? They'll have the little sensor in them so the TV idjits can put that stupid trail on it when it goes past a certain speed.
I gripe because I've heard the powers that be are thinking to bring that back.
Hey
Free burger.
To be fair...
...there's always a difference between an athlete appearing in an ad in a personal capacity and in a team capacity. If it's just a personal endorsement, you're not likely to see the athlete in their team jersey, even if the team has a pre-existing sponsorship deal with the company—as McDonalds undoubtedly would, as I'd bet you'll find the 'golden arches' in every major-sports stadium in North America. You'll notice that the Canadiens logo or team name doesn't appear in the ad either (hence him being IDed as "Max Pacioretty #67", not "...of the Canadiens"); only the team colors and number style appear at the end.
As a Canadiens Fan in Boston..
.. I think this is pretty funny. How did no one recognize him, from being a Hab alone, and also with all the cameras around?
The guy is a top 10 goal scorer in the league too.
Habs fan here too..
....Go Habs! Go!

p.s. no one recognizes him because they wear helmets and masks these days. you could be standing next to loui eriksson at CVS and you would never know.
