and he just takes the subway around to all these places.

You can keep all your fancy lop-ears, angoras, your blue-ribbon rabbits from the state fair. To my eye, there's nothing finer, nothing more quintessentially rabbity than the plain-old Eastern Cottontail.

There is a bunny population boom in my neighborhood in Quincy center. I see them a lot.

Head down along the riverside trail behind the McGlynn Elementary and Middle School in Medford (near Hormel Stadium) an hour or so before nightfall. Sit on a bench quietly. They will appear from everywhere, going about their bunny business.

I first discovered them when commuting through the area - even after dark, they will jump in front of my bike and run along in the light beam, until one of their friends knocks them out and has a turn (yes, I do cut my speed when this happens - I don't want to hurt them).
