Adorable!
Of course we are real! How
Of course we are real! How can one deny the presence of our brave harbingers of liberty when paired before you with your own two eyes?
Attempting to capture us in anything other than high definition digital glory is not recommended.

yawn
Wild turkeys have been ubiquitous in the Boston area for years now. Why are they any more newsworthy at this point than squirrels or pigeons?
Because some people like fun?
Because some people like fun?
Because some people don't get out much
Because some people don't get out much. Just take it for what it is, a funny-once joke that your boring Uncle Al can't stop repeating.
Because their semi-secret
Because their semi-secret brutal war of liberation against the oppressive junta in Brookline warms the cackles of Adam's and many of the UHub's readership's little hearts.
Yawn yerself
I'm sure there are plenty of other turkey-free Boston Web sites that will better suit you without inducing terminal ennui.
Well, Adam, it's your site,
Well, Adam, it's your site, and obviously you're entitled to post whatever you want. I apologize if I have offended you. Most of the time I sincerely appreciate what you put here, especially when you post important local news before the mainstream outlets do. But I don't understand the fascination with turkeys. Some turkey pix are cute or funny, like the one you posted a while back in which a squadron of turkeys had neatly arranged themselves in a parking space. This one just didn't strike me as particularly interesting. Obviously you disagree.
I guess we just march to the beat of different drumsticks
Yes, one of these days, I'll wake up and realize that's it, turkeys are just overgrown squirrels with feathers, nothing special anymore, the magic's gone and it's time to stop posting photos of them all the time.
I obviously haven't gotten there just yet, though - the idea of turkeys in Dudley Square, or downtown or, OK, pretty much anywhere in the city, even down here in the boonies where turkeys are a dime a dozen, right up there with coyotes and deer, still fascinates me. Plus, any chance to let the Turkey Liberation Front sound off, yes, I'll take it.
So my apologies for my infatuation; until that halcyon day when I say "enough," I hope you can just skip over the turkey posts.
