That's a lot of salt

Bring it, Mother Nature! The Boston Public Works Department shows off its new pile of salt in its yard off the Expressway, built out of the 10,000 tons of salt it got this week.

Last winter, we had about 4 inches of snow?
Remember that last little flurry in April when the city boys came out and drenched the streets in salt like Carthage? Guess they had to make room for their new pile of crap budget. Bunch a jerkys.

I know and I believe that soap is not helping in most applications. However is this soap that treats on the streets environmentally safe.

This is salt, not soap...

And no, it's not great for the environment. But if you want to be able to drive in winter, it's essential.
