Harvard could have even more mumps cases

In addition to the six cases confirmed as mumps, Harvard has another 14 suspected cases of the viral infection, according to Dr. Philip Lederer, who adds:
The six confirmed cases have documentation of two doses of measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, and the majority of the suspected cases are believed to have had two doses of MMR.

Isn't the info here suggesting that despite two doses of the vaccine, these people still got the mumps?

Massachusetts law on vaccines
Vaccination requirements cover college students, including graduate students. There are additional vaccines for students staying in dormitories or other campus housing.

It is possible that people were not vaccinated, but also possible that they had waning immunity.
Waning immunity affects adults, too - you should check with your own doctor to see if your own vaccines are up to date. I've avoided infection in two such outbreaks among adults because I've kept mine current.
A lot
of the vaccines that came out in the 90s had a booster period that turned out to be...incorrect.
That's why the last ten years or so has seen a whooping cough epidemic of people in their early 20s. They received the "last" whooping cough vaccine in middle or high school, and it wore off sooner than people realized, so they all got whooping cough.

Classic comment, when the very short article clearly states that the infected were vaccinated. The predictability if responses to vaccine articles is just laughable. All this hype about measles...wow 800 people got a fever for 4 days and are now actually immune to the measles...kinda how nature wanted it. Meanwhile, about 2 people have died while you were reading this post due to pharmaceuticals prescribed by a doctor...about 70,000 Americans die every year (almost 200 per day) from pharmaceutical drugs. Then there is tobacco, with almost double that amount. Just wait till all the auto immune disorders start ravaging these poor kids getting 60 vaccines by the time they are 5. Auto immune treatment is one of the largest growing medical fields, expected to be 70% of all medical costs in 30 years. Perhaps its 60 vaccine's worth of adjuvants literally designed to stay in your body and trigger immune response????? The blind devotion to an industry with such an unbelievably long history of foul play, corruption and greed is just incredible to behold. I hope you are all genuinely surprised at the revelations that lie ahead.
