She makes a lot of references to fighting.

I wish they'd all stop fighting and just start working more.

Right, I can't imagine why she feels like she has to fight all the time. Its not like someone has attacked her or something.....

That's politics. You know the saying about heat in the kitchen.

I don't know of any politician that hasn't been attacked and she is, and shouldn't be, any different.

So shall you reap.

Benghazi was a witch hunt. But Whitewater, commodities trading, the Clinton foundation, her dealings with the Bill's women issues and the email issue certainly demonstrate serious ethical lapses and may have involved criminal actions -some still TBD.

There but for the grace of God she is not wearing an orange jumpsuit every day. She's a smart, capable person. She is also possibly the most seriously ethically challenged but unindicted politician of my lifetime.

In a pants suit.

I voted for Silber, against Weld, back in the day. Because Silber was a putative Dem. This is my punishment--I get to vote the Weld ticket now as penance all these years later.

"Richard Nixon" "In a pants suit."

Nixon was a poker player and understood foreign policy.

That wasn't exactly a knowledgeable move.

Why not?
Letting our people hang out to dry at Benghazi wasn't really too friggin stellar...

Right, but you started off by saying she is too fighty ("She makes a lot of references to fighting.
I wish they'd all stop fighting and just start working more.). Given that people, including people like you apparently, have bought into every fringe element conspiracy theory alleged about her and spun it on the inter-webs as fact, why do you think she is so fighty? She should probably just shut up right? I mean, especially about, as you put it "her dealings with the Bill's women issues" because she must have been asking for that, right? I appreciate most of your commentary here about economic issue, but this is just stupid. Sorry.

In another thread, our moderator has requested us not to turn everything into a November issue - so even though this is loosely connected I'll just say - if her name were "Mary Jones" instead of Hillary Clinton and I learned all this stuff about her I could never hire her. She would quite literally be an indefensible, existential threat to my business. If I would never hire someone with that background to be part of my team - why would I "hire" them to be President - even if they had the technical qualifications (which she does in spades).

And again - not voting Trump either - unless her name is Ivanka who is far more impressive than her father.

The point of the fighting metaphor is that Clinton fights for the week and the weary. That was the consistent message throughout the convention.

'cos I thought it was about her fighting to get more money in her pockets from brokers and banks To Big To Fail. Oh and all the millions from the Saudis who treat women SO WELL. Fight for them! YEAH !

The disappointment will be epic when Hillary loses. You can all feel the Coakley vibe, yes?

She's national Martha Coakley, and she's the only one who doesn't know it yet.

...definitely relates to America's middle and lower classes.

...and I am voting for Hillary.

That's what I was thinking too (although I haven't heard the song, the singer's upbringing may be irrelevant).

BB&N tuition is $30K a year! Not even college!
