The hotel will just be screening YouTube videos of hippos taking dumps.

I don't know who's most offensive: Trump, Trump supporters, or Trump protesters.

The guy who wants to marginalize billions of people on this planet, the people who support him, or people who talk about hippo poop videos? That's a tough one, hoss.

I don't know who's most offensive: Trump, Trump supporters, or Trump protesters.

They're all equally offensive, as far as I'm concerned!

If Trump clinches the Oval Office in November, we can expect things to get worse, and not better.

Yeah, people who respond to outright hatred are so offensive!

God bless the victims of the latest Islamic Terror attack and glad Mr. Trump canceled his fundraiser. Class act, as always. I agree with some of the more thoughtful pundits who question, will the gays stand with Hillary and allow millions of unvetted Muslims into our country, those who would toss gays off tall buildings, or worse, or support Mr. Trump who calls for a moratorium? Ask your local police officer, there is no way to screen people from the Middle East, just a roll of the dice. Time for the LGBTQ crowd to speak out.

You know, your posts make a lot more sense when you replace gays/liberals with "Lizard People"

Having seen the drivel and gibberish you have posted on the Boston Herald and now here on Universal Hub, I can't help but be reminded of author Eric Weiner's description of what constitutes being a self-loathing and hateful human being.

As you rail on and on with one ridiculous assertion after another, it has become increasingly obvious that you are energized and excited by your own misery and misanthropy…it seems as if you strive to reach a kind of orgasm of negativity. You don't simply enjoy hate and misery, you get off on it.

Omar Mateen, the guy who committed the horrific Orlando nightclub mass-shooting that killed and injured tons of people who were just exercising their rights to celebrate and enjoy themselves, and to earn money by working there, was born, here in the United States, in New York to Afghan parents who were immigrants here to the United States. I've pointed the following out on other posts, but it bears repeating here: Omar Mateen is an Afghan-American.

What's there not to get?

No, mate, the guy was solely American. In order to be hyphenated, you need to spend some time in that other country, go to school or in the army, stuff like that, proper engagement, beyond the vacation time some of us spend in Italy merely because Romans are our very remote ancestors. Merely being swarthy or mental doesn't suffice.

We now know that the murderer was a self-hating gay who targeted other gays, and that he was apparently in the thrall of the fringe of a religion that espouses hatred and murder of gays.

It might be reasonable to limit immigration or travel to the US to people who state they do not follow such a belief.

Once upon a time, the INS would ask people requesting immigration or naturalization whether they were or had ever been homosexuals.

Perhaps it's time for the INS to ask people "are you now or have you ever been a follower of a religion that states that homosexuals are not deserving of respect, freedom, or civil rights?" or some such question. That might help screen out potential terrorists.

Holland has a specific program for assuring that new immigrants will be able to adapt to the country's values. Perhaps this country should do something similar.

Let's see he has pledged allegiance to ISIS, Al Qaeda and Hezbollah. Which is like pledging allegiance to the IRA, the Ulster Volunteer Force and the local Masonic lodge on the Isle of Man. In short that self-loathing, violent loser in Orlando has as much to do with Islamic extremism as John Hinckley Jr. had to do with a film critique of Jodi Foster's performance in Taxi Driver.

But people shouldn't let facts get in the way of their bigotry. God knows reality never impedes Fishy's posts.

edit: he also worked for a military contractor accused of human rights abuses while working for the Israeli govt. The only consistent thing in his ideology is a vile fetishizing of power over others - hence he had a hard-on for guns.

This:

We now know that the murderer was a self-hating gay who targeted other gays, and that he was apparently in the thrall of the fringe of a religion that espouses hatred and murder of gays.

is something that I understand, also, but one must be careful not to attribute the religious aspect of it to all Muslims per se, , however.

The part of the first sentence in your post that says that Omar Mateen was gay himself may well have been accurate, given the fact that people who are often discriminated, marginalized and oppressed often have much anger, hostility and low self-esteem, which frequently causes them to internalize the hatred directed at them, by turning on and attacking each other.

Will you be so enthralled with President Trump when he's gotten "to the bottom of it" and decided to start letting Muslims re-enter the country? I mean, you're not in this to "save lives". You just want to hate Muslims because they "might be radicalized". So, when he's ready to let them back in, you're cool with that, right?

Also, where is your Class Act's comments on the guy that was headed to the LA Pride Parade? Is he preparing a speech to condemn non-Muslims who want to harm the LGBTQ community? Will we need a moratorium on white people because white people keep attempting to harm the LGBTQ community? When will he "get to the bottom of" that?

Finally, I had a roommate who was Afghani. He wasn't even born in America as the Orlando shooter was. He was born in Malaysia actually. His parents were fleeing Afghanistan. He grew up here in America from a very young age. I never asked him if he considered himself Muslim or not. He was a nice guy. I'd hate to see someone like Trump attempt to deport a man who has only ever really known a life here in America and is extremely easy-going just because you and Trump are "unsure" of his intentions. But that's what's being discussed. It's straight up bigotry.

Go fuck yourself.

They say that this man Omar is not a representative of all muslims. Why is it ok to make him a representative of all gun owners? You liberals can't have it both ways. And why are you so nasty?

all gun owners, Arthur. The point is that guns are far too accessible here in the United States, which makes it way too easy for super-unstable individuals such as Omar Mateen to obtain firearms. There are many people who have absolutely no business what. so. ever around firearms, and Omar Mateen is one of them.

I haven't heard a SINGLE person say that he represents all gun owners. Don't just parrot stupid shit you hear morons say that are attempting to distract you from reality.
