State Police say Waltham man is serial exposer along the Charles

State Police report they've arrested a Waltham man on charges he exposed himself to women along the Charles River in Waltham - and that they're now investigating his possible link to similar instances along the River Walk, which runs along the river from Brighton to Watertown.

Gordon Trammell, 24, was charged with two counts each of indecent exposure, lewd and lascivious behavior and disorderly conduct, and with one count of witness intimidation for incidents on July 1 and 7.

Since this investigation began, numerous other victims have reported that a man indecently exposed himself to them along the River Walk, which runs along the Charles River through Brighton, Newton, Waltham, and Watertown. State Police are asking that if anyone has had a similar experience, please contact the State Police barracks in Brighton, 617-727-4812.

Innocent, etc.

You'd think if the authorities were trying to find more potential witnesses and victims to build a case against this person, they might include a picture. I doubt a name is enough, unless he was polite enough to introduce himself before (allegedly) exposing himself.

It would probably be a major reason to suppress any cases that come out of this request for info. There would be a legitimate claim that the ID was overly suggestive that the person exposing himself was the one who did it because the police say he does it all the time. Instead they want the victims to tell the police what the guy looked like, instead of the other way around .
