The perils of publishing an edition for a state 1,000 miles away: The Fort Pointer has a friend vacationing in Florida, who forwarded a photo of the front page of the Boston Globe's early Florida edition.

They sent an e-mail to subscribers this morning noting the possibility of a late delivery "[d]ue to overnight production issues." My assumption is that the issue was a complete redesign of the paper starting at about 10:30 PM.
