Fire erupts in Roslindale triple decker; spreads to neighboring buildings
Boston firefighters responded to 3940 Washington St. at 6:50 p.m. for what turned into a three-alarm fire that spread to 7 Claxton St. and burned off the siding of 3944 Washington St.
About 21 people were displaced. The Boston Fire Department reports no injuries, estimates damage at $500,000, says the cause is under investigation.
Washington Street was shut.
