Kids get another snow day
By adamg on Sun, 02/12/2017 - 4:13pm
The city just announced Boston Public Schools are closed on Monday.
For adults, another snow emergency starts at 8 p.m. - so no parking on designated emergency routes (but when it's all over, you get another 48 hours to claim your space, wherever it is you wound up parking).

Alternative fact
Or if you're an Eastie lifer, until the end of time, because that's the way it's always been done. /eyeroll
What the
Hell are you talking about?
The 48 hour rule
Gets completely ignored in Eastie in favor of the "unwritten rules," i.e. people act like they own that space until the snow melts, hilarity ensues when anyone challenges it.
East Cambridge too
I rented in Cambridge for several years, and no one saved spaces. Then I moved to East Cambridge, and on the first day I lived there (August), my new neighbor knocked on my door to inform me that he saves his space with a cone year round because "that's how we do it in Cambridge."
Not only would I
move that cone, I would make sure it, and every replacement cone after it, completely disappeared.
It's been snowing for years
... and we just don't know why!
Adorable!
