Is city hall open?
Did he say anything about whether you will be able to get services there tomorrow?
Yes and.....
the streets should be cleared of snow also.
Your government at work
Just remember, that's the city that will probably take days to get the roads clean, and will probably neglect good chunks of their own sidewalks indefinitely due to finger-pointing between different levels of government, demanding you clean their sidewalks in 3 hours.
Your government at work.
Sidewalks don't have to be
Sidewalks don't have to be cleared till 10:15am tomorrow?! What if you need to get to work before then, like most people? Will Walshy be waiting to plow the streets till tomorrow morning too, or as an elitist self described 'car guy' thinks only the wealthy that can afford to drive to work are worthy of his concern?
Shovel ONTO a hydrant
Is there any way to report a shitty neighbor who actually works for the city that shoveled out their car into a giant pile right in front of a hydrant. Those kind of morons really grind my gears
Assuming the Mayor actually said this...
Dear Mr. Mayor - it seems to me that when the city has plowed the streets, shoved government-owned sidewalks & unblocked the "handicapped" access ramps that have been plowed in, that might be the time to start telling residents what to do - in the meantime, and I say this in the nicest sort of way - go F yourself
For some stupid reason, I had
For some stupid reason, I had thought the law was 24 hours after end of storm, not 24 hours after beginning of storm.
In other news, I'm really impressed that with City Hall on emergency workers only yesterday, and dealing with lots of calls about plowing, floods, broken water mains, heat, etc..... - they found time to send my tax bill.
