Darryl Houston spotted WHDH exercising its snow-box system tonight, with a cute little six-boxer. The Boston TV record stands at 17 reporters, weatherpeople and a random kid named Bobby on screen at once; is this the season we truly become world class and break the 20 barrier?

How do these people do this with a straight face? These clowns wouldn't know real journalism or news reporting if it bit them.
My father was a real print journalist
He loved the British term "news readers" for our anchors.
He'd roll over in his grave if he saw these weather whatevers referred to as reporters.
The question is...
If everyone seems to know what a joke this is, why does it keep happening? It clearly must generate revenue to create this nonsense broadcasting. There must be a lot of stay at homes and shut-ins getting enjoyment out of it.

Watching breathless news coverage of storms is pretty much the only decent form of entertainment many of us have all winter. The only time I ever watch the local news is during storms.
