Nah, pretty much everyone in the industry agrees that physical access, especially after the fact, is pointless and redundant if you have the bit wise copies of the drives and ram, along with captured network traffic. The proper course of action is to collect all of the forensics without disturbing things and then wipe everything as fast as possibly to prevent further attacks. This is what happened.

The DNC hired CrowdStrike, which is fairly well respected, and also does work for the RNC, to do a full initial analysis, and handed said results including, again, the full images, to the FBI that also agreed with the conclusions after their own investigation. Not even a point going into the "Obama did nothing" narrative.

Your source also backs up nothing you are saying, and reaffirms what I am saying - the DNC followed protocol, collected the data via a security firm, and then handed said info to the FBI. Even private sector business will operate with the least amount of downtime possible - do you think it would be wise for the DNC to take all their servers off line in the middle of a presidential election year and be dark for large amounts of time?

As for Mueller, well, he had enough information to issue the latest indictments from the information provided by the DNC and CrowdStrike, which the FBI had and looked at. Physical access is pointless at that point.

Again, nothing to do with having physical access to the servers. Again, powering the servers off and letting the FBI take them is pointless - you right off the bat lose all information in RAM which is vitally important. It is extremely common for hired private firms to perform the initial work and collection of imaging and investigation to then forward it on to the FBI and government agencies for further analysis.
