You're right, there was no news involving a Russian submarine threatening to blow up an American town. They employ less violent measures now (well, most of the time).
Putin reminds me of James Bond a smart, suave and deadly assassin. Trump reminds me of Inspector Clouseau a bumbling idiot who lurches from crisis to crisis.
Russians: Here we are judge.
Mueller: We need more time.
Court: (as done in other cases) No.
R: Discovery for the computer.
M: Dog ate it.
Court: Dismissed.
Trump is right. So, just where the hell are the computers, which are, of course, the foundation for the hacking case?
Gotta love that narrative, though - there is absolutely no point in having the physical servers, its not like we are going to dust them for prints. The actual servers, which were cloud based and a whole ton of them, are irrelevant in computer forensics. They (the FBI) have the bit for bit hard disk and ram images along with captured network data. The ram images, which, btw, would be gone/wiped as soon as the computer is turned off or restarted, and the network traffic which would have stopped as soon as the attack stopped. The physical servers are nice a little distraction, though, and seem to play nicely to people who have no idea what they are talking about or any background in computer science or information security.
Or, as Hillary asked, Wipe them? Like with cloths?" (paraphrased).
Nice try, but really. Please. You get paid for this bullshit?
"They (the FBI) have the bit for bit hard disk and ram images along with captured network data." Right. Um, they have RAM images? How did they get them? They had the computers still running? You're full of baloney. Oh, if it doesn't matter (Cloud!) then why would it matter? If that does make sense. If computers were swapped out (which at least one was, one missing) then, by very definition, they do NOT have a 'bit for bit hard disk and ram image'
No, not dust them for prints. I guess you must be a whole lot smarter than a whole bunch of people that considered busting up the physical servers really important. Hillary's tech wiped her server. Bleach bit, not BC Wipe. Oh, well. It was bathroom based, not cloud based. So, if it's all cloud, why did he do that?
When they went for another server, the serial number was different. Why did they steal the server and replace it?
The FBI have shit. The Pakistanis that were so involved with the Debbie computers (heh) had a garage full of stolen and busted equipment.
Why is that? They keeping a 'cloud' in their garage?
You're full of shit. But, why believe me? Maybe people (but not you, paid troll) might believe, well, the Democrats themselves.
Well, there's this website...it's right wing lunacy,of course, but I just want to get it out there... https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/07/brazile_rice_obama_gave...
"Rosenstein was no doubt pleased with himself to announce that 12 Russian spies were caught – er, spying, on President Obama's watch, by the way, but neglected to include one small detail in his announcement – namely, that DNC chair Donna Brazile and most of the Obama hierarchy let them do it."
"The DNC never turned its servers over to the FBI, although it is not clear what Obama's and Comey's FBI would have done with them. Instead, Brazile, et al. simply stood by while the Russians emptied the computer jar of its cookies. "
Go there, if you want. But you don't want to.
"In May, when CrowdStrike recommended that we take down our system and rebuild it, the DNC told them to wait a month, because the state primaries for the presidential election were still underway, and the party and the staff needed to be at their computers to manage these efforts,” Brazile wrote in her new book, “Hacks.”
“For a whole month, CrowdStrike watched Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear operating. Cozy Bear was the hacking force that had been in the DNC system for nearly a year.”
Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear are cybersecurity firms that have reported ties with Russian hackers. Both groups are blamed for the hacks on the DNC in 2016. CrowdStrike is a private U.S. cybersecurity firm that oversaw the protection of the DNC’s servers."
"Robert Mueller’s appointment as special counsel of the Russia election interference probe presents an opportunity for the FBI to inspect the Democratic Party computers that U.S. intelligence concluded were penetrated by Kremlin-directed hackers, cybersecurity analysts say.
The Democratic National Committee did not allow the FBI to physically inspect its machines, including servers. There is no public indication that any government agency has ever looked at the machines, prompting some former intelligence people to question the findings.
Instead, the DNC — and thus the FBI — relied heavily on the conclusions of counterhacking firm CrowdStrike, which the Democrats invited in to investigate the computers. Nice deflection. But, but, her emails!
Nice try, but really. Please. You get paid for this bullshit?
I do get paid quite a bit for decades now in consulting, info-sec, architectural design of scalable large enterprise systems, and general computer science stuff, but I am not the one peddling Russian propaganda. Just a dude from Rozzie who now lives in Dot living pretty well in the city that born and raised me. Sumus Primi.
No, not dust them for prints. I guess you must be a whole lot smarter than a whole bunch of people that considered busting up the physical servers really important. Hillary's tech wiped her server. Bleach bit, not BC Wipe.
Nah, pretty much everyone in the industry agrees that physical access, especially after the fact, is pointless and redundant if you have the bit wise copies of the drives and ram, along with captured network traffic. The proper course of action is to collect all of the forensics without disturbing things and then wipe everything as fast as possibly to prevent further attacks. This is what happened.
You seem to be conflating two separate things, btw - we are talking about the DNC servers, which have nothing to do with Hillary and her email server. At least keep your narratives in line without confusing them.
Oh, well. It was bathroom based, not cloud based. So, if it's all cloud, why did he do that?
When they went for another server, the serial number was different. Why did they steal the server and replace it?
Why did who do what? Are you still now going on about Hillary's email server as secretary of state and not the DNC's servers during the election?
The FBI have shit. The Pakistanis that were so involved with the Debbie computers (heh) had a garage full of stolen and busted equipment.
Why is that? They keeping a 'cloud' in their garage?
The FBI have the full images and forensic evidence of the DNC servers. I have no idea what your ramblings of servers in garages have to do with anything, unless you are confusing different events, yet again.
You're full of shit. But, why believe me? Maybe people (but not you, paid troll) might believe, well, the Democrats themselves.
First of all, I have been trolln' since Usenet and before you probably born, comrade, but, I've never been paid. Its an art form, that unfortunately, is long lost to history.

Which is completely asinine and straight up lies. The DNC hired CrowdStrike, which is fairly well respected, and also does work for the RNC, to do a full initial analysis, and handed said results including, again, the full images, to the FBI that also agreed with the conclusions after their own investigation. Not even a point going into the "Obama did nothing" narrative.
In May, when CrowdStrike recommended that we take down our system and rebuild it, the DNC told them to wait a month, because the state primaries for the presidential election were still underway, and the party and the staff needed to be at their computers to manage these efforts,” Brazile wrote in her new book, “Hacks.”

If by central you still mean conservative biased, but at least not quite Infowars or Breitbart level, then sure. Your source also backs up nothing you are saying, and reaffirms what I am saying - the DNC followed protocol, collected the data via a security firm, and then handed said info to the FBI. Even private sector business will operate with the least amount of downtime possible - do you think it would be wise for the DNC to take all their servers off line in the middle of a presidential election year and be dark for large amounts of time?
"Robert Mueller’s appointment as special counsel of the Russia election interference probe presents an opportunity for the FBI to inspect the Democratic Party computers that U.S. intelligence concluded were penetrated by Kremlin-directed hackers, cybersecurity analysts say.

Again, what does this have to do with the price of tea in China? Here is what Comey himself said about physical access vs images:
"COMEY: That's correct although we got the forensics from the pros that they hired which -- again, best practice is always to get access to the machines themselves, but this -- my folks tell me was an appropriate substitute."
As for Mueller, well, he had enough information to issue the latest indictments from the information provided by the DNC and CrowdStrike, which the FBI had and looked at. Physical access is pointless at that point.
For those of you that cannot stomach leaving the total mainstream media, well, I'll provide this for your viewing enjoyment...

Which... has nothing to do with our conversation at hand, or having physical access to the servers. Also, that story is also from 2016. We now have the actual evidence coming out from an active investigation, its not particularly relevant to quote a two year old article.
Cut it out...LOL...so, tell me about this cloud of which you speak. Please, feel free to read the whole ABC article. It's a hoot.
Maybe the DNC should have hired you instead of a bunch of crooked Pakistanis.
Again, nothing to do with having physical access to the servers. Again, powering the servers off and letting the FBI take them is pointless - you right off the bat lose all information in RAM which is vitally important. It is extremely common for hired private firms to perform the initial work and collection of imaging and investigation to then forward it on to the FBI and government agencies for further analysis.
Here is some fun reading material for you, not that you will care, and not that it will stop you from talking out of your ass:
"Nice deflection. But, but, her emails!"
Classified information outside of proper channels, like a bathroom server...is a felony. Period. Felony.
""I do get paid quite a bit for decades now in consulting, info-sec, architectural design of scalable large enterprise systems, and general computer science stuff"
Sounds to me like you have hit the bingo. That's nothing. I can put a feather in my hat and call it Macaroni.
So we have several crimes here. Let's list them:
1. Hillary server was in the bathroom. Like Hillary, it's obsolete and irrelevant. Would have been nice for the FBI to see what was on it, given the many emails, some rather difficult to explain, on Huma's and 'Carlos Danger's' personal phones. FBI doesn't have Hillary's, but Wiener is in jail. 'Nuff said.
2. Different set of Democrat computer shenanigans...Aman (or whatever) and his extended family bleeding $$$$ out of a bunch of Democrats (including one in Massachusetts for about $55K) with a garage full of busted equipment, family back in the old country, and best of all, the one left behind (grabbed at an airport), just pled to some minor bank shit involving lying about a property being 'owner occupied'. We will hear a lot more from him, I bet. This is the crew that Debbie Wasserman Shultz was so freaked about a while back. She had good reason to be...the Capitol Police have her computer and Hillary ain't the President.
3. DNC server...according to one of the sites you cite, "“Best practice is always to get access to the machines themselves,” Comey said in March 2017, “but this — my folks tell me was an appropriate substitute.”
Spoken like a real pro. So, tell me Primo, Why did the DNC turn the FBI away when they first went to investigate the hack? Even better, why did the FBI leave?
4. Podesta...was his password, when he got phised, really 'password'? If true, they deserved to get hacked.
Since you're the one who started in with the personal crap, I'm addressing you: Cut it out, please. Like now. If you can't figure out how to engage in an online debate without belittling the other person, it might be time for you to find another Web site to be annoying on.
