Semi-conscious, trapped man rescued from barge on East Boston waterfront

The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters were able to rescue a worker who got trapped inside a 10x30 barge in the water off Border Street, near the Umana Academy. The man was rescued shortly after 8:45 a.m. and handed over to EMS for transport to a local hospital.
