Two B&E suspects nabbed in Allston/Brighton

Boston Police report arresting two men for two separate break-ins in Allston and Brighton on Wednesday.

Police say officers responded to a report of a break-in at 47 Park Vale Ave. in Allston around 4:10 p.m., in which a man was spotted climbing into a unit via a second-floor building while clad all in black and carrying a black bag. They spotted Quang Nguyen, 50, looking just like the description of the burglar, a few blocks away, detained him and returned him to the building, where witnesses IDed him, police say. He was charged with burglary and receiving stolen property.

Around 9:55 p.m., officers responded to another B&E call, at 202 Market St., in Brighton, where witnesses described a guy skulking around the rear of the building, trying knobs and looking through nearby parked cars.

On arrival, officers located a male fitting the description of the suspect. When asked to explain why he was in the area in light of a clearly posted ‘No Trespassing’ sign, the suspect was unable to provide an adequate or articulate response. A search of the suspect enabled officers to recover several items stolen out of a motor vehicle to one of the residents of the building.

Anthony Knight-Dingle, 31, was charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle in the night time, attempted breaking and entering a residence in the nighttime, receiving stolen property and trespassing.

Innocent, etc.
