Blue Line service through Orient Heights could resume Monday morning

The MBTA says it hopes to resume Blue Line service through the waterlogged Orient Heights station with the start of service Monday morning. Still, just in case, the T advises riders to allow some extra time.

The T reports workers did yeoman work this weekend first draining all the water off the tracks and out of MBTA signal and power equipment from Friday's nine-alarm fire at the New England Casket Co. and then repairing all the damage.

Work will continue through the night, the T adds.
