Boston man admits he pimped teenager, two women in three states; faces 12 years in prison

Corey Smith, 35, yesterday pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of transportation of a minor for purposes of prostitution and two counts of transportation of an individual with intent to engage in prostitution, the US Attorney's office in Boston reports.

In exchange for his plea, prosecutors and agreed to ask the judge in the case to sentence him to 146 months in federal prison, or slightly more than 12 years. Had he gone to trial and been found guilty, he could have faced a sentence of up to life.

Federal officials charged Smith sold the girl for sex in Massachusetts, Connecticut and George for three months in 2015 and that he engaged in similar activities with two women in 2014 and 2015.

So these young women get a life sentence of dealing w/ what he did and was going to do w/ them and he only gets 12 years? Well I guess looking at the sunny side of things at least he got something....more than most sexual predators get in this country.
