Boston Wi-Fi Meetup and Field Trip to Watch City Wireless Community Network in Waltham

The Boston Wi-Fi Meetup happens the second Wednesday of each month. The next meetup is on Wednesday, June 8th.

At the June Meetup we'll be meeting in Waltham for a field trip along the Watch City Wireless community network on Moody Street. Thomas McGonagle and Robbert Abbott, the project founders, will walk us through the project and describe their process and vision to make things happen. If you're curious about what it takes to set up a community-based Wi-Fi network in your neighborhood this will be a good opportunity to ask questions and learn more.

You'll want to arrive by 7PM sharp at the Watch City Brewing Company since we'll be walking along Moody Street shortly after 7PM. We'll then return to the brewery for food, drinks and conversation. The evening will wrap up by 9PM.

To RSVP go to http://wifi.meetup.com/3/ or send an email to [email protected]. You don't need to be signed up with meetup.com or RSVP to attend but it's helpful to know you'll be joining us so we have a big enough area set aside for everyone at the brewery.
