At 4:07 p.m., a disgusted citizen filed a 311 complaint about this cone put out after approximately 25 flakes had fallen on Walter Street in Roslindale:
Space saver out and there isn't even any snow yet.
I would just pick it up and fling it as far as possible.
I'd say if you put in the work to clear that space of space savers, then you earned that space.
This scourge must be stopped.
If the snow becomes what is predicted, nobody will even be able to see that space saver.
How do we know that the citizen is disgusted? Or are we just fluffing up the article.
I mean, he took a picture and posted a message to the complaint department...
If you're filing a 311 complaint, chances are you're disgusted.
Primrose Street. Walter Street is probably where they were standing when they took the picture. 311 app takes the metadata from the photo and assigns an address.
The app allows you to refine the location by dragging the map. This is important since often DPW / BTD / ISD will go to the listed address and not find the condition you’re reporting.
The space saver problem would disappear much quicker if everyone who sees such simply picks up the space saver and moves it to the end of the street or treats the space saver as abandoned property and puts it in a garbage can
When even I say it's bad.
You gotta work for your space. Putting a cone out ain't working. And from the sounds of the forecast, it seems like no spaces will be earned this round.
I'm going to take it home and use it as a space saver!
a yuppie spend 15 minutes scraping ice off his car windows, pull out of his spot and place an orange cone in the unshoveled spot.
