Tree ends Gloucester man's drunken drive through Cambridge, police say

Cambridge Police report arresting a Gloucester man after, they say, he sped down Massachusetts Avenue, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree at Vassar Street around 3 a.m. on Sunday.

Police say they found Steven Germain, 28, outside his vehicle and determined he was drunk, so he was charged with OUI, as well as driving without a license. When police found he also had a gun with him, they also charged him with carrying a firearm while under the influence.

Innocent, etc.

If you can't say something nice, say nothing at all.
Also, I can't tell if you didn't like that comment or not, or if you just made your suggestion in the wrong place instead of directly to Adam.

What is your point?

Unlicensed drunk driver with firearm is stopped by a tree and apprehended?

Yes, the tree was an innocent bystander, but was it not a better result than letting this driver stay drunk and carry arms on?

An explanation as to why you would downvote the comment would be more interesting.

Color me "Huh?"

Let's cut to the chase: Was the tree wearing bright-colored clothing? Did it have a walk light?

in Mr. Germain. He had an opportunity to achieve greatness, but missed it by a fraction. If he had shot the tree, he would be in the Asshat Hall of Fame.
