Yes, not to mention how long would it take to get them there (snow will probably be melted by then), who will operate them, and what happens if we get hit by a big snow storm in the mean time.

It has become an habit for this mayor to come up with grand promises, but having no idea on what it will take to implement them. I call this Walshism. Vision Zero? Carbon neutral by 2050? I am all for it. But what are we actually doing to get there? Where is the funding? It will take more to accomplish those goals than installing two dozen digital speed billboards throughout the City (many of them already broken) and implementing a plastic bag ban.

Section77, thank you for letting me know that it was a joke. It genuinely didn't occur to me. Sending snow plows to California actually seems more realistic to me than, say, significantly improving street safety or carbon emissions under the current city policies.

Question: How can I tell when a Walsh announcement or policy plan is a joke and when it's not? I need help in calibrating my instruments :)
