Jury acquits two for 2016 Roxbury murder, but one could still spend the rest of his life in prison

A Suffolk Superior Court jury today acquitted Jonathan Aguasvivas, 26, and Calvin Boykins, 27, of first-degree murder for the Feb. 4, 2016 shooting death of Marquis Waithe on Brookledge Road, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Aguasvivas, already an official armed career criminal at 18, was convicted of second-degree murder for the shooting death of Raekwon Brown outside Burke High School in 2016. That verdict meant a life sentence, but with the possibility of parole.
