Lenox Hotel lit up in Pride colors

Shamus Moynihan spotted the Lenox Hotel lit up in Pride colors, with a Pride flag flying out front tonight. Hmm, why would a Copley Square hotel want to show off Pride colors tonight? It's a wonder.

I saw the cornice lit up with the rainbow earlier tonight. Props to Gary Saunders, Dan Donahue, and the rest of the Lenox team for being a great neighbor and ally, especially in empowering their staff to make subtle (but important) statements like this.

I am a Trump supporter and DO NOT support this parade. I think it's nonsense, and a show of insecurity by those who fear gays, or of being gay themselves. This has nothing to do with Trump, idiot.

You think your Chosen One doesn't embolden these losers? He literally said there were good people on the side of the white supremacists in Charlottesville, where, to remind you, someone was literally killed by a white supremacist.

What Trump positions do you support? His personal corruption? The dismantling of protections for workers, children and the environment? The $28B in subsidies for farmers paid on $27B in tariffs paid by US businesses and importers (100% not paid by China)? The complete lost of standing and trust by our democratic allies in the world in favor of groveling for Putin and Kim's favor? Honestly, what is it? The $1T debt created by his tax cut?

Or is it just that you also hate Latino immigrants?

In attacking Trump is "Hillary accused him of stiffing contractors during the first debate, and he didn't flat out deny it."

I mean, we all work, right? Would one deem it acceptable if you did a job and then didn't get paid? No? Then why would one reward Donald Trump with a vote?

I asked that very question to someone outside a bar recently. Their response was "Because Bernie wants to give everybody free everything." Jesus Christ, what a moron. I must have amnesia or something, because I don't recall the instance in which Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump competed directly against each other, with both names printed on the ballot, for elective office.

We have the president we deserve.

Intersting that a mjor hotel chain like the Lenox would allow such a display of clearly discriminatory policies against people merwly proffessing there love for themselves

The Cambridge Caribbean parade was cancelled because of rumors of possible violence. Hundreds of peaceful participants who spent thousands of their own money for elaborate costumes were cheated out of their day to celebrate their heritage.
Meanwhile today a parade will take place in the city of Boston where the organizers are allied with white hate groups surrounded by radical groups such as Antifa and the police are expecting violent confrontations and the show must go on.
So sad in this day and age that white fear of a black parade celebrating their heritage causes it to be cancelled and a parade of white agitators on both sides is allowed to march through the streets of Boston.

but, yes, what was done to Cambridge Carnival really stinks. Can't have _those_ people in Kendall Square any more. Maybe we'll get some carnival outfits at Copley today :-)
