The Boston Fire Department reports one resident was injured - and 15 more displaced - by a three-alarm fire at 6 Dewey St. reported around 12:45 a.m.

The fire in the six-unit building, which appeared to start on a rear porch, also damaged a neighboring building at 216 Blue Hill Ave., the department reports.

The fire caused an estimated $500,000 to the Dewey Street building and $100,000 to the Blue Hill Avenue one, the department says. The cause is under investigation.
