Resident injured in fire on Ballou Avenue in Dorchester

The Boston Fire Department reports one resident was injured and thirteen displaced in a fire at 5 Ballou Ave. that broke out around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The depattment estimates damage from the fire - which also caused some damage at neighboring 3 Ballou - at $250,000.
