Roxbury man charged with manslaughter for death of a Mattapan grandmother in April gun battle

Boston Police report arresting Dane Henry, 23, of Roxbury, in connection with the shooting death of Eleanor Maloney, 74, on April 6 in an exchange of gunfire on Mattapan Street that she had nothing to do with.

Henry was charged with manslaughter, unlawful possession of a firearm and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, police say. He is scheduled for arraignment on Monday in Dorchester Municipal Court.

Two other people were injured in the shootout, including Maloney's grandson, Anthony Davis, a designated armed career criminal who faces gun charges in connection with the lethal battle.
