Fire erupts at house on Mountain Avenue in Dorchester

The Boston Fire Department reports a fire at 37 Mountain Ave. in Dorchester sent one firefighter to the hospital and displaced six residents.

The basement fire, reported around 8:55 p.m., caused an estimated $125,000 in damage, the department says.
