Fire in house on Stonehurst Street in Dorchester injures two firefighters, displaces six

Boston firefighters responded to 12 Stonehurst St. around 8:15 p.m. for what turned into a three-alarm fire that burst through the house's roof before it was brought under control, the Boston Fire Department reports.

The department reports that two firefighters were taken to local hospitals and that four adults and two children were displaced.

Damage was estimated at $500,000; the cause is under investigation.
