People coming here from the rest of New England, New York and New Jersey no longer urged to self-quarantine for two weeks if they have no symptoms

The state has issued a new travel advisory that exempts fellow New Englanders - and people from Northeast states that begin with "New" from having to self-quarantine for two weeks after arriving here, because unlike in much of the rest of the country, they seem to have gotten Covid-19 under control.
People from the rest of the country, however, should continue to hide themselves away for at least two weeks, but, this is just an advisory - unlike New York, we're not backing it up with potential fines, and unlike what Rhode Island did for a couple of days, we're not sending State Troopers around looking for license plates from hot-spot states.
Gov. Baker announced the new advisory today.
The 14-day period applies to Bay Staters returning home from anyplace other than New England, New York or New Jersey, but again, nobody's actually going to check and the state is going to rely on people's consciences to do the right things.
Anybody, regardless of where they are, with active Covid-19 symptoms shouldn't even come to Massachusetts, the state adds.

NY and NJ are still heavily infected. Their numbers might be flat as far as increasing cases, but they should be keeping their Tri-State germs to themselves.

Its our own south that's blowing up and it has nothing to do with Mexico or Canada (which are shutting out people from the US and extending those restrictions due to our Southern stupidity problem).
The Mason-Dixon line is the border between PA and MD
Maryland hasn't been part of the South for decades, nor has Delaware. Joe Biden is from Delaware. Both states are south of the Mason-Dixon line.
Northern Virginia isn't even part of the South any more; it's all DC suburbs.

My husband's uncle, a half hour from home in MA, was coming up I-95 with a MA plate. He was stopped and grilled by a trooper without a mask for more than the time that it would have taken him to get home and order groceries.
Raydumbo is an overgrown townie with a state the size of an average US county who thinks that throwing martial force at a pandemic is a good idea. I have no faith in her judgement.
