Turtle Swamp Brewing announced today that it's re-opening its beer hall in the Roslindale Substation on Friday, noon to 10 p.m., but with more limited capacity, so it's suggesting calling ahead for reservations.
Nick and John are nice guys. Orange Line is a phenomenal IPA, give it a try. Actually everything they brew is awesome.
If you have never been, now's a good time to check it out. Big open space and you can bring your own food (think pizza or other local takeout) and enjoy the room and the food and the excellent beer. This place is a real community resource, so I hope people continue to support it.
Just as other states are pulling back on reopening, especially bars and indoor dining, but Baker and MA is moving full speed ahead!?
Just not full speed. There are loads of things each establishment have to put into place in order to open.
Baker has been clear there will be no checks on whether company's are abiding the rules, "just the trust, no verify." He said it's up to employees to report employers. So the rich and powerful do nothing but hang at their mansions and vacation homes and we have to keep an eye and report employers because he can't be bothered. He famously said he didn't know about global warming because he's not a scientist. Seems that applies to epidemiology too.
Massachusetts was starting to fall behind all the other states that have been reopening. Hopefully this will help us catch back up!
Have you seen the news lately? Do we really want to catch up with all the other states?
I see what you did there.
