Town urges residents to stop calling police about a baby wheel, Jay

IT'S A FAHCKIN TUNA BRO! Part 1 & 2

The Wareham Department of Natural Resources pleads with residents to knock it off already about a sunfish in one of its inlets off Buzzards Bay:

We are aware of a sunfish in Broad Cove. We have checked on it, and it is doing normal sunfish activities. Its swimming. It is not stranded or suffering. The sunfish is FINE.

Dont be jealous just because its not swimming weather anymore!

PLEASE STOP CALLING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT ABOUT THIS SUNFISH!!

... these days, even at the highest levels of government. It's understandable that our leadership's first reflex is sometimes that it doesn't want people to panic, but playing down serious public health emergencies clearly imperils the public.

Likewise, the media is complicit inasmuch as it provides a bully pulpit to such messengers, instead of truly questioning what's happening and using their voice to speak truth to power.

Adam, many people are saying this is your opportunity to be on the cutting edge of journalism, calling attention to the zombie sunfish infestation of our public waters!
