Waltham restaurant that seemed like it was seized by the state wasn't

Boston Restaurant Talk reports officials are looking into who might have put a bogus sign on the front of Bison County on Moody Street that the place had been seized for nonpayment of taxes.

Sounds like another grubby scam shake down like those proliferating at all levels of society now.

Was their first clue the mention of "payment in gift cards"?

It will be interesting to see how this ... hashes out.
