Worcester shuts Walmart after 23 workers test positive for coronavirus

Walmart thought it could re-open the store today or tomorrow after a deep cleaning, but Worcester said, yeah, right, not until you test all 400 workers, especially since most of the cases were diagnosed in the past week, WBZ reports.

I hope and pray that all our essential grocery workers from this Worcester Stop & Shop recover with minimum if no discomfort at all.

I don't care what were the motivating reasons why you had to work, only thing I do know ;I am deeply grateful and thankful for you to be working in such a dangerous deadly situations.

I am glad the public is attempting to started recognizing how important your jobs are to all of us who are consumers. we're coming to realize how important certain non-union and union workers are to the public.. in fact the public needs to start recognizing and appreciate those who serve them.

I hope the public don't forget your courageous and heroic commitment to servitude. May you and your families continue to be protected.

By the way government we need to pay these type of essential employees hazardous pay.

Word issue

I agree with your sentiment, although I don't know how many store workers will read it here.

However, although I know you meant it well... the word "servitude" doesn't mean what you think it does. It's a pejorative term; the word you wanted was, simply, "service". My dictionary has this definition for "servitude":

servitude |ˈsərviˌt(y)o͞od|
noun
the state of being a slave or completely subject to someone more powerful.

Why are you always at Walmart!! That's definitely not effective social distancing. Of course you're at risk now.
