Another Bay Stater leaving for DC

Transportation Secretary Stephanie Pollack will decamp from Boston for Washington to become deputy administrator of the Federal Highway Administration. CommonWealth Magazine notes that's the latest turn in the road for Pollack, who at one time was "a left-leaning, pro-tax, transit advocate working at the Conservation Law Foundation and Northeastern University’s Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy."

America's loss, our gain. Stephanie Pollack is like an anti-rolemodel, someone who started off apparently decent but failed upward and upward as she made one bad decision for Massachusetts after another. I'm sure DC will be a fitting capstone for her "legacy".
