Man charged with quadruple shooting on Cameron Street in Dorchester
Boston Police report arresting Khary Jones, 37, of Braintree, on charges he opened fire on a group of people on Cameron Street in Dorchester on July 10, hitting four of them.
Jones, already a designated armed career criminal, was arrested at his home early this morning on charges of armed assault by means of a dangerous weapon (four counts), unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and discharging a firearm within 500 fee of a residence. His status as a Level 1 armed career criminal means a potentially longer sentence should he be convicted on the other charges.
Jones was arrested by a team that included ATF agents, US marshals, BPD gang, fugitive and C-11 detectives and Braintree officers.
