Either a road diet or a nice big cross so we can remember every person killed on Centre Street. Is this the second or third fatality in the last three years?

We must allow the knee-jerk reactionaries who don’t ever want anything to change, ever, to control the discourse. Or are you part of the “George Soros Radical Left” who want a (no doubt U.N.-mandated) “road diet” (scary!!)?

They are fine with change, as long as it just means Ford F-150s keep getting bigger every year

The sarcasm and disrespect are directed to the folks in West Roxbury who want their dangerous 4-lane road to continue with its obvious dangers to pedestrians, bicycle riders, cars that are turning or parking or behind buses, and motorcyclists like the one who sadly lost his life on this miserable street.

You are clearly being disrespectful to my fellow coworker and neighbor! To use this fine mans death as a vehicle to further any cause whatsoever is completely wrong and disrespectful. Your contempt for what ever is going on on Center St. should be kept to the proper channels.

Why is it disrespectful to point out that this didn't happen just anywhere, but in a place where such deadly car crashes occur frequently? We are tired of hearing about people being killed by cars. We know there are ways of fixing dangerous roads and intersections. They all involve slowing car traffic, because collisions are far less deadly, and much easier to avoid, at low speeds. This tragedy was preventable, but as a society we have difficulty making the choices that could have prevented it.

I offer you condolences. I hope one day such accidents are both far less common and far less deadly.

The design of center st directly contributed to his death.

with using their death as a rallying cry to avoid more deaths like theirs.

for all the hacks involved in city government who can't be bothered enforcing any traffic law.
