Somerville man charged as racist Red Line bottle thrower

Cook

Transit Police report arresting Shawn Cook, 43, of Somerville on charges he screamed racial slurs at a woman and her young child and then hurled a glass bottle at them on the Red Line on Nov. 5.

He's one of those white-as-a-ghost racists.

Someday the Transit Police will hire people who know how to work cameras & get digital surveillance footage. Just not today.

Is he getting off with mental health counseling, or is this punishment reserved only for perps causing permanent brain damage?
