Back when I worked downtown
I shopped at Polcari's quite often. Nice people, good coffee and spices. I told them they could almost charge for the pleasure of getting a smell of the store. It was so wonderful.

Yes, Polcari's is a gem! I know a lot of Boston newcomers only think of the North End as a tourist trap, which it is if you don't know where to go.
When was this filmed?
2021 shows up in the intro, but when was it filmed?
Asking because, well, they ain't wearing masks, contrary to health codes, etc.

Miss this place!
I lived in the NE for 13 years and between fresh Produce from Alba's and dried goods at Polcari's, I seldom had to leave a four block radius to shop for cooking. Bobby's a great guy and I could spend hours talking to him. I do miss being able to pop in there anytime.
Siciliano’s do! Lol it’s
Siciliano’s do! Lol it’s slang is all .
Italians don't...

Polcari's rocks
Been going there since sometime in the early 90s but much less regularly the last 5 years or so. When my Calabrese grandfather was alive he would give me a shopping list of items to get him from Polcari's just before every trip to see my grand parents. Polcari's has always just been a great Italian grocery.
Really they are just great people there. Known Bobby since the early 90s and I remember Ralph and Marie.
That video made me happy.
Polcari's is the best!
One of my favorite stores in Boston. Glad to see them get some love.
