Former BPDA director sets up real-estate development practice at local law firm

The Boston Real Estate Times reports that Brian Golden, who spent eight years as head of the city's overseer of large-scale development before resigning in April, has joined Keegan Werlin as head of its real-estate development and permitting practice. Joining him there is Sean Nehill, the BPDA's former associate general counsel.

It has been used many times to bull-doze the City Council when they mayor wants something. Everyone talks about getting rid of it when they run but if they actually win they just give it a new name and hope no one notices.

Reminds me of Generals retiring and becoming beltway bandits. Same thing for Senators and Congressmen. It's been this way practically forever with high ranking Government officials.
