Former BPDA director sets up real-estate development practice at local law firm

The Boston Real Estate Times reports that Brian Golden, who spent eight years as head of the city's overseer of large-scale development before resigning in April, has joined Keegan Werlin as head of its real-estate development and permitting practice. Joining him there is Sean Nehill, the BPDA's former associate general counsel.

I'm Team Wu all the way, but
what happened to getting rid of the BPDA?
The BRA is a powerful agency under compete control of the Mayor.
It has been used many times to bull-doze the City Council when they mayor wants something. Everyone talks about getting rid of it when they run but if they actually win they just give it a new name and hope no one notices.
He has encyclopedic knowledge
of the skeletons buried under City Hall and 1010 Mass Ave.
Reminds me of Generals
Reminds me of Generals retiring and becoming beltway bandits. Same thing for Senators and Congressmen. It's been this way practically forever with high ranking Government officials.
